UNIFYING THEMES IN GEOMETRY
Lake Como School of Advanced Studies, 27-30 September 2021
https://utge.lakecomoschool.org/

(N.B. Because of the pandemic, this event will take place online.)

Call for participation

* Aims and scope *
--------------------------
The event “Unifying themes in Geometry” aims to present and discuss
fundamental insights and approaches to several key types of geometries, and
significant links between them. More specifically, it will focus on
intra-disciplinary connections between algebraic, arithmetic, tropical,
motivic, p-adic, adelic, anabelian, topos-theoretic and model-theoretic
geometries.
The school will feature lecture courses on different aspects of geometry as
well as invited talks by top experts in central areas of contemporary
mathematics.
It is our hope that this event will contribute to stimulate new developments
towards a unified geometric vision shedding light on some of the most
challenging problems in modern mathematics.
