Dear all,

This is a first announcement that the School of Mathematics of the
University of Leeds will host a London Mathematical Society Research School
"Bicategories, Categorification and Quantum Theory". The event will take
place from Monday 11th July to Friday 15th July, 2022.

The school will include four mini-courses:

- Richard Garner (Macquarie University), Bicategories
- Chris Heunen (University of Edinburgh), Quantum Theory
- Sonia Natale (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba), Hopf Algebras
- Marco Mackaaij (Universidade do Algarve), Categorification

The mini-courses will be complemented by tutorials.

Additional information, including registration, will be available in due
course.

The school is organised by Jamie Vicary (University of Cambridge), Vanessa
Miemietz (University of East Anglia) and me.
