Dear colleagues,

As you know professor Ieke Moerdijk is the recipient of the Chaire de la Vallee Poussin 2022. He will give a series of lectures entitled Trees in Algebra and Geometry at the Universite catholique de Louvain (6-9 September):   

On this occasion we shall also organize a Workshop on Categories and Topology on Friday, 9 September, with invited speakers Pedro Boavida, John Bourke, Sandra Mantovani, Ieke Moerdijk, Aniceto Murillo, Emily Riehl, Jerome Scherer:  

On Thursday, 8 September, professor Emily Riehl will give a Colloquium talk  on - Path induction and the indiscernibility of identicals:   

The Workshop and the Colloquium talk are part of a collaboration project Hoover SeedFund between the category theory research teams at UCLouvain and at John Hopkins’ University.
