Having chaired the CT Advisory Committee for 12 years (since the late
Bill Lawvere stepped down at the end of 2010), Peter Johnstone has
decided that the time has come for him in turn to step down from this
role. The other members of the Committee are pleased to announce that
Maria Manuel Clementino has agreed to take over; so notice is
hereby given that any enquiries or proposals concerning future CT
meetings should be addressed to her at mmc@mat.uc.pt.
The Advisory Committee, which was set up in 2004, exists to offer help
and advice to potential organizers of international Category Theory
conferences, and to try to ensure that such conferences are held at
regular intervals.
