Dear all,

We are pleased to announce a workshop focused on bringing category theory
to consciousness science, to be held in Oxford on 15-16 April 2023.

*Category Theory for Consciousness Science Workshop*
Date: Saturday, 15 April – Sunday, 16 April, 2023
Place: Topos Institute, Oxford

Deadline for registrations: 8 March 2023

Our goal is to create a space for new ideas to flourish, and the workshop
will involve interactive discussion sessions as well as contributed and
invited talks. Topics are anything category, cognition and consciousness
related, including:

— Categorical models of consciousness
— Compositional approaches in cognitive science
— Categorification of frameworks for cognition and consciousness
— Categories of spaces of conscious experiences
— Formal treatments of problems of phenomenal consciousness
