Dear categories list,

I am writing to announce the upcoming

***Category Theory Outreach Panel***

hosted by Topos Institute. This exciting event will take place on March
16th at 17:00 UTC, and will be streamed live on Zoom at the following
address:

https://topos-institute.zoom.us/j/84392523736?pwd=bjdVS09wZXVscjQ0QUhTdGhvZ3pUdz09
.

The panel will also be archived on the Topos Institute YouTube channel for
those who are unable to attend the live event.

The panel will be moderated by Emily Riehl and will feature Tai-Danae
Bradley, Eugenia Cheng, Paul Dancstep, and Oliver Lugg. It is an exciting
opportunity to hear from leading figures on how to bring category theory to
a broader audience, including to self-learners without access to
academic support structures. The audience includes both those who want to
learn more category theory and those who want to facilitate this process.

We strongly encourage self-learners to participate in this event by
submitting their questions ahead of time. If you know someone who may have
a question, please have them ask it through this form:

https://forms.gle/BTPunWJHLSyLKH4x6.

This panel aims to spark a broader conversation within the category theory
community about making the field more accessible to a wider audience. We
hope you will join us for what promises to be a fascinating and
enlightening event!

Best regards,
David
