This year the conference topics will be algebraic topology, category theory, and commutative algebra. In addition to plenary lectures, of interest to the entire conference audience, there will be shorter contributed talks in parallel sessions. Anyone interested in giving such a talk should contact one of the organizers. The deadline for submission of abstracts is November 11th, and for registration is November 18th. PLENARY SPEAKERS John Baez (University of California, Riverside) David Cox (Amherst College) Jesper Grodal (University of Chicago) The meeting will begin with an evening reception on Friday, December 2, and end on Sunday afternoon.
