ICMS Workshop "Geometry, Higher Structures, and Physics"

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the workshop

"Geometry, Higher Structures, and Physics"

to be held

08 Dec 2025 - 12 Dec 2025
ICMS, Edinburgh, UK

with support from the Clay Mathematics Institute, the Edinburgh
Mathematical Society, the Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust, and the
London Mathematical Society.

This workshop aims at bringing together researchers working in geometry,
higher structures, and physics to present the latest results in the
application of (higher) geometry to theoretical physics and to foster
new collaborations between mathematicians and theoretical physicists.

The list of confirmed speakers comprises Mohammed Abouzaid, Thomas
Baird, Viviana del Barco, Leron Borsten, Ron Donagi, Maria Pilar Garcia
del Moral Zabala, Lothar Goettsche, Ailsa Keating, Camilo las Heras,
Mario Garcia-Fernandez, Tony Pantev, Henrique Sá Earp, Urs Schreiber,
Nick Sheridan, Špela Špenko, Martin Wolf, Chenchang Zhu, with further
speakers to be confirmed.

A limited number of funded places remain available, particularly for
Early Career Researchers and PhD students, to participate in the
