Subject: Two tenure-track positions at Western University
Date: Sat, 17 Sep 2022 10:32:34 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <d695e694-2879-40d4-2116-2dbcc3c322b1@gmail.com> (raw)

Folks,

We're hiring (again)! This year, Western is hiring for two positions:

---

1. An open rank (tenure-track or with tenure) position in any area of
mathematics restricted to applicants from under-represented and
historically excluded groups, including: women, Indigenous scholars,
members of racialized communities, and other equity-deserving groups.

Please note that all applicants to this position must self-identify as
belonging to an under-represented equity-deserving group within their
cover letter.

Deadline to apply: November 1.

---

2. Assistant Professor position, with preference given to applicants
whose research has connections to Data Science.

Please note that all applicants to this position must address in their
cover letter how their expertise fits the position.

Deadline to apply: October 24.

---

I'd like to encourage all qualified readers of this list to apply for
these positions. Western is a great place to be mathematically (and
otherwise), with lots of activity in homotopy theory, category theory,
and other closely related areas.

We will also be hiring postdocs, but this ad will go up later this term.

Best,
Chris
