How about that, I even understood that.  But for the fun of it I put
it through Google Translate, and the result is worth showing:

To the best of my knowledge he meant

  hand] as much as you can.

I attune Tolstoy's enthusiasm for Schopenhauer, but had to study
it much better for my own benefit.
