I have a date for when this feature was announced for ITS.  The previous
.CBLK UUO could not access files.

the system, including ITS version 671, DDT, TECO, MIDAS, (MAC)LISP,

I hope so, eventually.  But it may be a lengthy process through MIT's
legal departments.
