So we should add a second pass to the fontification. Right now fontification stops after the first true condition it encounters in the list. In the second pass it should do all things with a true condition. These should be no real face definitions but functions like gnus-make-face-bold, or ...-italic, or (gnus-make-face-size 14), that means functions that use an existing face in the region they operate on. What I would use this for: I would really like to have the root of my threads (where also the subject appears) say in 14 point size and all the follow-ups in 12. So the condition would be 'is the article a root' and the function would be (gnus-make-face-size 12) if not or the other way around. (-> I know there will be problems with dummy roots, I tried it already) By the way, I use XEmacs.... Nice logo.
