Hi all,
I just fired up my emacs and tried to start gnus (git version as of this
morning), but I got the error below. Updating to the current git HEAD
(ebaaf082873ffc21e45bec70c57b02a16d9ec201) doesn't help either. Oh Ma
Gnus, what's the problem?

I don't know which of my three nnimap buffers is the problematic one, so
I attached the contents of all of them. BTW: Just right now, Gnus
started without error once. But after restarting emacs, the error was
back.

I have no clue. I tried edebugging `nnimap-send-command', bug guess
what, if I keep my finger pressed on `n' and that function gets applied
a gazillion times while Gnus starts up, it just works! I've done that
three times, no error at all. Then again with a new emacs instance and
no edebugging, bang, error. So maybe it's some kind of timing issue?

Sure. But I won't come up with a definitive statement until this
evening. Here at work, Ma Gnus works just fine again (like it did
yesterday, too).
Do you have an idea why that error is only triggered at home but not at
work, and not at home when edebugging? I think, my network connection
at home is even a bit faster than here at work (32.000 KBit/s) which
would somewhat support my timing hypothesis. But does that make sense
to you?

Yes. The bug was in the handling of EAGAIN (i.e., a full write buffer)
in the gnutls interface code. So if your network is slow you'd see the
bug, but not otherwise.

What I've observed was the other way round: fast network => bang! slow
network (or code slowed down due to edebugging) => fine!
Anyway, great that it works again.
