I tried edebugging `nnimap-send-command', bug guess what, if I keep my finger pressed on `n' and that function gets applied a gazillion times while Gnus starts up, it just works! I've done that three times, no error at all. Then again with a new emacs instance and no edebugging, bang, error. So maybe it's some kind of timing issue?
