Somewhat off-topic for this mailing list, but somehow interesting.
We (EE. Dept) are using a spam black-list processed by sendmail to
block spam. The black-list was generated by posting to USENET to
attract spam. The black list consists mostly of IPs, some domains and
a large number of Class B and at least 3 Class A addresses (large
portions of China, Korea and Nigeria).
Sometime ago, I began plotting the results. The patterns are
not something I would have predicted:

It's a weekly cycle! Interesting. I didn't try to associate days
with weekdays, though.
