I think ognus-0.24 was the last Oort version, and I don't think that
much changed between it and Gnus 5.10.  Hm.  In fact:

I presume this is a FAQ (my apologies) but I cannot find the answer in
the documentation.


In short what is the main difference between
 gnus-5.10.1 and ognus-0.24

For gnus-5.8.8 and ognus-0.07 ognus was much faster expecially when
connection via a modem.

Is this still true?
