You're right, I don't know what I was going on about. I may have been
confused by the Adam Sjogren icons, which I thought were not in Emacs
yet, but I see that they are.

I'm confused. The version I'm looking at

http://quimby.gnus.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/gnus/etc/images/README

has no Copyright or license info for any files. I'm saying I think you
should add it, in a similar way to the READMEs in Emacs.
