Gnus should check /^[ \t]+/-cites if/and/or -there is loose attributions -Subject: Re:-, In-Reply-To:- or Reference:-headers exist -there is headers at the article body. '*' is used to cite articles and to bullet text. I think gnus-cite-prefix-regexp should convert to gnus-cite-prefix-regexp-list. Check first item till there should not be any citations left.
