I'm trying to get GNUS up and running with the following setup:

XEmacs 19-14, stock GNUS (but I get the same message with the newest
version), an ethernet connection.

Gnus loads fine, but when I try to connect to a server which is not
localhost I get the error message:

wrong number of arguments: (lambda nil "Return server process status, T or NIL.

I've tried grepping through the source to find a clue based on this
error meassage, but am unfortunatley lost. Any pointers are much
appreciated.
