Subject: Scoring followups to myself when posting from the draft group?

Hello,
Is there a way to score followups to my posts when they are sent from
the draft group? It would seem that Gnus should run message-sent-hook
in this case as well, but it doesn't.
Using Gnus 5.10.6 with XEmacs 21.4 (patch 17).
