Subject: What is the correct format for mime.types?
Date: Mon, 17 Jul 2006 21:25:21 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <2794-Mon17Jul2006212521-0700-andre@e2open.com> (raw)
/etc/mime.types has a layout of
MIME-TYPE EXTENSION
Crossover Office has rewritten my ~/.mime.types as
type=MIME-TYPE \
desc=foo bar \
exts="EXTENSION"
Looking at mailcap.el, the second layout is not supported. Before I
dust off my elisp skills, is the second layout an accepted standard or
some KDE/Gnome specific thing to be ignored?
Thanks.
