The subjects are identical, but Gnus will still identify them as
different because one is marked as iso-8859-1 and the other is marked
as iso-8859-15.
Just an observation. Probably not worth bothering with even if it
could be solved..

The problem is that the characters are different to Emacs, because
Emacs uses different Mule charsets for them.
