CVS current as of earlier this morning. I tried to forward a
bounce-o-gram to someone, and got this stack trace:

Signaling: (wrong-type-argument char-or-string-p nil)
  mml-insert-mml-markup((#<buffer " *mm*<11>"> ("message/delivery-status") nil nil nil nil nil nil) #<killed buffer> nil)
  mml-insert-mime((#<buffer " *mm*<11>"> ("message/delivery-status") nil nil nil nil nil nil))
  mapcar(mml-insert-mime ((#<buffer " *mm*<10>"> ("text/plain") nil nil nil nil nil nil) (#<buffer " *mm*<11>"> ("message/delivery-status") nil nil nil nil nil nil) (#<buffer " *mm*<12>"> ("message/rfc822") nil nil nil nil nil nil)))
  mml-insert-mime(("multipart/report" (#<buffer " *mm*<10>"> ("text/plain") nil nil nil nil nil nil) (#<buffer " *mm*<11>"> ("message/delivery-status") nil nil nil nil nil nil) (#<buffer " *mm*<12>"> ("message/rfc822") nil nil nil nil nil nil)))
  mime-to-mml()
  message-forward(nil)
  gnus-summary-mail-forward(nil)
  call-interactively(gnus-summary-mail-forward)

Doesn't look like it.

Since you said it works for you, I tried it a few more times. It
seems to be the case that the very first forwarding I do in a single
XEmacs works. Every subsequent attempt gives me that same error.

    I get the same behavior after the first forwarding.

I can't reproduce it. Could you eval mml-insert-mml-markup source and
reproduce the stack trace?
