Subject: INSTALLATION OF GCC-2.7.2.2
Date: Wed, 20 Aug 1997 21:06:42 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <33FBBED2.46F6D9B0@linfield.edu> (raw)
I have been trying for a week to install gcc-2.7.2.2 on Sequent Symmetry
S5000/SE20 running DYNIX/ptx 4.2.2.
On running the 'make LANGUAGES=c' command, the compilatuion proceeds for
a while and I get the following error message.
.......
.......
../xgcc -B./ -DIN_GCC -g -I./include -DNO_MEM
-DNO_LONG_DOUBLE_IO - O0 -I. -c ./enquire.c
In file included from ./enquire.c:402:
include/signal.h:145: parse error before `*'
include/signal.h:146: warning: `struct sigstack' declared inside
parameter list
include/signal.h:146: warning: its scope is only this definition or
declaration,
include/signal.h:146: warning: which is probably not what you want.
*** Error code 1
The make then stops.
Anybody out there to help me?
Thanks.
Martin.
