Subject: 0.13 problems with adaptive word scoring
Date: Tue, 20 Aug 1996 14:11:00 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <36742.5770768479$1042182180@news.gmane.org> (raw)
I gave adaptive word scoring a try and found two problems:
1. score entries are added to SCORE, not ADAPT as expected
2. can't load the score files after. Get an error message "Illegal match
type: w"
The score entries appear to reasonably correct though.
A feature request: have a parameter to add extra words to be ignored. For
example, it's probably wise to ignore the java in the comp.lang.java.*
