I think, as I mentioned, that spam-process-ham-in-nonham-groups
is the solution to your request.

You're right, and I didn't catch it earlier.  Looks like Emacs
Lisp allows you to declare a variable twice in the same let
binding.  Weird.  Fixed in CVS, thanks!
