But interpreting the full URL syntax is, IMO, not necessary with Gnus since a server name is already associated with all the necessary parameters. To re-interpret the full URL scheme would be fun, I'm sure, but would not make sense in writing a simple store/retrieve IMAP file handler for Gnus. Ted
