I got a second bug report about this. My problem is that I don't use XEmacs, so I'd have to set up my environment from scratch in XEmacs, something I can't do quickly. Can anyone knowledgeable about XEmacs please look at this error and see if there is an obvious problem with the spam-contents group parameter declaration in gnus.el? Thanks Ted
