That would actually be very useful. I need to write something like
it for cross-server splitting, where the gnus-registry tracks an
article to a group on another server. The articles will go in a
"queue" group and then get moved to their final destinations.

I added it as a customization option to ham-process-destination.
I'll see if I can add the actual code for resplitting to spam.el today.
