I think I'll use group parameters, as > suggested by Reiner. The registry will now use either the registry-ignore group/topic boolean parameter, or the global gnus-registry-ignored-groups variable. Both associate nil (the default) with registry processing, and anything else with registry ignoring. The old gnus-registry-unregistered-group-regex variable is gone. Ted
