The (gnus-data-header) information about an article from gnus-data-list is available for the registry when I catch respooling, moving, copying, expiring, and deletion of articles. Spooling, however, only gives me the article's ID: (from nnmail.el) (defun nnmail-cache-insert (id grp) (run-hook-with-args 'nnmail-spool-hook id grp) ... Is the data header for the article available somehow at the point of cache insertion in nnmail.el? I would really like to have that header available for message analysis at that moment, not later when the article is copied/moved/etc, so the registry interface is consistent. Also, to save a hashtable, it seems like I have to convert it to an alist and put that in a file, and convert the other way when I want to load from a file. Is there an easier way? Thanks Ted
