(I know, you're machine is probably much faster). I held out as long as I could. Honest. But spurred by all this discussion, and a couple of Gb of currently unused space on my (single CD, talk about annoying) desktop machine, I snarfed up some free tools and did a little MP3ing. Is it just me, or does everyone suffer from really horrific drop-outs and noise whenever their machine does anything other than play MP3 files? I woulda thunk a 250Mhz Pentium II was enough.
