Gnus cannot view the groups at news.freshmeat.net, but my inferior
netscape browser can!  Help.

I'm having no problems viewing fm.announce from news.freshmeat.net
using Gnus.

Ok, In the summary bugger I type B. Select nntp.  Type in
news.freshmeat.net.  No news.  Empty buffer.  Pgnus 0.96.

G m fm.announce RET nntp RET news.freshmeat.net

You must "make" the group (G m).

You should be able to browse it.  Pgnus 0.84 does it fine, so I'd say
it's a bug.

This is a bug since 0.93. Here is a patch to fix this bug
hopefully. (cc'ed to bugs@gnus.org)
