Why not replace "Choose manually" by the list of other backends? Seems like less coding for the programmer (no extra set of questions/answers), and less clicking/tabbing for the user. Selecting "Next" can still choose the default nnml backend. (I've been watching the progress on this assistant with interest, and smiling. There's one very annoying, excessively prolific (on this and numerous other mailing lists and news groups) poster who's been requesting (repeatedly, ad nauseum, for the past many years) something like this assistant and has always been rebuffed. I guess maybe enough annoyment causes action. :-) Cheers, Derrell
