It does fix the problem for message 1. I have checked in the change for
MH-E. I referenced SF#1273521, but I do not believe that request is
really closed yet as MH-E probably needs more help to support generating
text=flowed messages.

Note that the message 3:

  Content-Type: application/pgp; x-action=sign; format=text

is still not really being recognized as a signed message. I do not know
if there is any way to get GNUS to help us with that problem or not.
