I have been trying to get qgnus and efs to coexist happily under GNU Emacs 20.2
and I thought I had it lickes. Unfortunately, more testing shows that not to
be the case.

If I have efs ahead of everything else in the load-path. I can get qgnus up
properly and efs will work as well. If OTOH I make the mistake of doing a
dired before running qgnus, I get the following backtrace:

Signaling: (error "Error in ~/.gnus: (void-function nil)")
  signal(error ("Error in ~/.gnus: (void-function nil)"))
  error("Error in %s: %s" "~/.gnus" (void-function nil))
  gnus-read-init-file()
  gnus-1(nil nil nil)
  gnus(nil)
  call-interactively(gnus)
  execute-extended-command(nil)
  call-interactively(execute-extended-command)

It still seems that gnus does not like the dired packaged with efs. Is anyone
in either of these mailing lists successfully using qgnus, efs, and GNU Emacs
20.2 at the same time? Or is everyone here using XEmacs and/or ange-ftp?
