For example, I usually PGP sign all my messages, but some people (mostly Win/Outlook/Beginners) just don't get it. They don't understand the attach etc, so instead of messing with there systems, I don't want to sign the message to them. Therefor I want the variables 'turbo/process-*' to be set for this particular group, and in my message-send-hook function I can then check these variables, and take appropriate action (sign, spook, etc) just before the mail/post is delivered to sendmail (or whatever).
