They all just say: "nntp:news.ISP.net" (same thing in each of the groups coming from this server). Then the virtual (say for my all-gnus-all-the-time group) says: (nnvirtual "^nntp\\+news\\.ISP\\.net:gnu\\.emacs\\.gnus\\|nntp\\+news\\.gnus\\.org:gnus\\.ding$") (and the other virtuals say similar things).
