Gnus version was the last git pull around the 25th. Login was a breeze, it connected to the gmail server but nothing showed up in the Group buffer! Quit and retried a couple of times before I tried ^ (gnus-group-enter-server-mode) in the Group buffer to goto the Server and subscribed to the INBOX. Not sure what the default behaviour should be but anyone using Gnus with only gmail/imap may be mystified even though it actually connected. Should INBOX be made the default subscription?
