The function gnus-summary-highlight-line has changed to grok the new variable downloaded, but gnus-tree-highlight-node has not. So I guess the solution is to add the gnus-summary-highlight-line change to gnus-tree-highlight-node, as well. I would do it, but it seems to be a nontrivial change. So maybe I can get Kevin to do it :-) In the meantime, the function gnus-tree-highlight-node (in gnus-salt.el) has a let* statement.
