In the Exchange case, the function winds up with an "OK APPEND completed" message from the server. In the Cyrus case I get "NO Message contains bare newlines" back from the server. I did this with M-x debug-on-entry, which was quite time consuming, and if I've missed reporting anything important, I have to do it again. Is there a way to debug the function such that it runs through but the steps and results are logged to a buffer? That would make it much easier to look for things like this.
