i've got a weird marks file, attached. essentially, the regions all seem out of whack. this occured with an older cvs version of oort-7. it's an nnml group if that matters. it takes a really long time to get into or out of the group (possibly, that's obvious :). the only thing interesting about this group is that it gets new mail split into it via a fancy split *and* mail is inserted into it via a gcc. since it is an archive group, i'll just whack the marks. oops, it also looks like it has the same sort of problem in the .newsrc.eld file. loads of stuff like: ("nnml:mail.tump.2002.aug" 2 ((1 . 11) (13 . 16) (18 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) (24 . 22) (24 . 26) this goes on at some length... any advice would be appreciated. thanks. -l
