Well, maybe I have done this. What variables control this behavior? (Note that some of the code in my .gnus.el is probably more than 6 years old, and I confess that I forgot what half of it does). In my case, the behaviour is different depending on whether or not I have new articles: Case 1: There are new articles when I enter a group. In this case, only the new and ticked articles show up. Case 2: There are no new articles when I enter a group. In this case, all ticked and unticked articles show up. -- Lloyd Zusman ljz@asfast.com
