Subject: `sieve-manage' fails to connect to server
Date: Tue, 23 Jun 2009 17:36:56 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <86bpofdkrr.fsf@gnu.org> (raw)
Hello,
I'm using "GNU Emacs 23.0.91.1" (a recent snapshot) on GNU/Linux. Using
`M-x sieve-manage' to connect to my company's MANAGESIEVE server
basically hangs forever. Setting `sieve-manage-log' to some sensible
value shows that `sieve-manage' stops here:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
"IMPLEMENTATION" "dovecot"
"SASL" ""
"SIEVE" "comparator-i;ascii-numeric fileinto reject vacation imapflags notify include envelope body relational regex subaddress copy"
"STARTTLS"
"RENAME"
OK "INRIA mail server - Dovecot ready."
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Hitting `C-g' a couple of times to regain control, and then
`M-x list-processes' shows that the connection is still open.
Any idea what's wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Ludo'.
