Subject: unplugged connecting to secondary server
Date: Tue, 29 Apr 2003 17:01:22 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <86el3lqrel.fsf@sophia.inria.fr> (raw)
Hi,
I want to read NNTP using secondary-select-methods:
(setq gnus-secondary-select-methods '((nntp "news.site.com" )))
instead of accessing that server as a foreign server. Mainly because
then I can see new newsgroups as they are created on the server.
However, if I do that, gnus attempts to connect to it even in
unplugged mode. Is this a bug?
Cheers,
Max.
