Subject: autoconf support incomplete
Date: 01 Mar 1998 17:13:42 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <86ra4mdppl.fsf@emerson.gelemna.ft-wayne.in.us> (raw)
I gave the new autoconf support a try:
em:/usr/local/lib/xemacs/qgnus#sh configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
configure: error: can not find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..
em:/usr/local/lib/xemacs/qgnus#
Fortunately the old Makefile wasn't clobbered at this point, and Gnus
built normally using it.

to make the commitment.
