I'm noticing "ee" taking up an amazing amount of processing time, and
it's only run on my system when converting X-Face images. I am using
XEmacs in an xterm so there's no real reason for this behavior.
Here's the output of ps:
$ ps -auxww | grep ee | grep -v grep
jmt 25440 92.4 0.7 1288 916 ?? R 3:20PM 1:48.08 ee -

jmt 23847 0.0 0.7 1576 872 p5 S+ 11:04AM 0:00.51 screen -D -R
jmt 25296 0.0 0.9 2700 1124 p1 Is+ 1:21PM 0:00.13 /usr/local/lib/xemacs-21.1.14/i386--freebsd/gnuserv
jmt 25437 0.0 0.5 1016 676 ?? Is 3:20PM 0:00.08 /usr/local/bin/bash -c { echo '/* Width=48, Height=48 */'; uncompface; } | icontopbm | ee -
Suggestions would be appreciated.
Jack.
