Subject: when receiving mail from github the from is displayed strangely

Hi 

When I receive email from github it is displayed in my summary buffer as

[]{ }R  98330 [ +reply+ABN] fragut01/C  [Re: [fragut01/CS_tutorial]

However when opening the message the from looks 

From: User1 <notifications@github.com>

What is the reason for this strange display?
