Subject: nnimap (gmail) messages missing

Hello

This is a little bizarre. I am using the nnimap backend to connect
to my

gmail account.

The INBOX contains 3045 message.

Now when I enter the group either via
 RET or via C-u RET
I am asked about the numbers of message (default is 200). If I
specify
1000, then the first 500 (in chronological order) and the last 500
(in

chronological order) but not the last 1000 (in chronological
order).

Of course when I specify 3045, then all messages are shown, but
this is

not what I want.

BTW would it be possible to specify before entering, that only
 message
s
are displayed, which are newer than a specific date?

thanks

Uwe Brauer
