Lars Ingebrigtsen writes: > Is it > possible that it's offlineimap that does something odd with non-Latin > charsets? I don't think so as I have offlineimap set up not to work directly with folders, but through the dovecot interface. And thus dovecot is the only thing between Gnus and my emails. I got the following error message: Couldn't move article 2: NO (TRYCREATE) Mailbox doesn't exist: Gmail / And it looks to me like a some charset misbehaviour. By the way I was forced to use Emacs 24 (with Gnus v5.13) instead of Emacs 23 (I prefer stable Debians for my everyday work) just because of broken built-in Gnus imap support. And dovecot setup initially also was a bad imap (with some servers that I use) workaround. But now I got a local mail repository as a bonus which I like a lot. I'm not complaining and I use Gnus and I do like it but it does really have some rough places.
